A Magellan education is intentionally different. Our students learn in two languages, from educators with perspectives and experience from around the world, through an internationally recognized IB framework that develops curious, thoughtful, globally minded learners.

Bring exceptional educators to Austin
Recruiting highly qualified native Spanish-speaking educators from around the world is central to our Spanish immersion model. International hiring can include immigration, relocation, and other significant costs. Philanthropic support helps Magellan continue building a faculty that brings language, culture, experience, and global perspective directly into the classroom.
Invest deeply in our teachers
As an IB school, Magellan makes a significant investment in ongoing professional development. Specialized IB training helps our educators strengthen inquiry-based teaching, deepen interdisciplinary learning, and continually grow their practice.
